/// ALIGNMENT FREQUENCY — DEEP DIVE ///

Alignment
Depth

The deeper layer of the showcase. The 741 Hz signal, told in long form — the mood of the canopy as the line finds its center, the violet-and-pink palette, and the five alignments one at a time.

/// The mood before any of them speak ///

The Alignment Frequency opens not with a call but with the moment the line finally settles — every trembling edge of the signal at rest at the same time, every part of the forest already in the place it was always going to land in.

You are not meant to chase the signal so much as find where it was already going to fall. Alignment is what happens to a forest that has stopped trying to be somewhere else, and the violet at the edge of dusk is the colour that line turns when it has nothing left to push against. The 741 Hz note does not arrive; it finishes arriving, and the canopy simply stops moving for long enough to receive it.

Underneath every alignment sits a single high note — 741 Hz, the fourth of the Solfeggio tunings. The first three signals asked the listener to listen, expand, and resonate; the fourth asks only that the listener stop correcting the line and let it land where it was already aimed.

Violet (#9b7aff) leads the line — the colour the entire forest turns the moment the signal stops drifting and finds its centre. Soft pink (#c77dff) follows it, drawing only the thinnest tracing of where the line has finally come home.

Celestial Totem

Celestial Totem

She holds the signal steady so the whole forest can find its center.

She is the first fixed point — and the totem she holds is the one the rest of the forest will later use to locate itself. Wherever a Totem stands, the signal stops drifting and the canopy has somewhere to put its center. The ancients said the totem does not arrive at the forest; the forest arrives at the totem, and only one of them has stood there long enough for both halves of the signal to come home.

Auric Tracker

Auric Tracker

She reads where the signal lands before the rest of us arrive.

She follows the signal before it has finished falling. The Tracker reads the field from a half-step back — close enough to hear the violet arrive, far enough to mark the place before the rest of the canopy catches up. By the time anyone else knows where the signal has landed, she has already built a path back to it.

Sundial Oracle

Sundial Oracle

He turns slowly with the line, so the rest of the canopy can keep time.

He is the only guardian who can hold the line while it is still moving. The Oracle does not stop the signal; he turns slowly with it, and the rest of the canopy learns the time by following his arc. Where an Oracle stands, the forest keeps its own hour for the first time in a season.

Meridian Bridge

Meridian Bridge

She is the ridge where both halves of the signal finally meet.

She is the ridge where both halves of the forest — the listeners and the callers, the understory and the canopy — finally meet. The Bridge does not connect the two halves so much as hold the gap between them steady long enough for the signal to cross. Remove her and the two sides keep moving past one another forever.

Harmonic Sentinel

Harmonic Sentinel

He burns only the parts of the signal that were holding the rest back.

He is the cleanser of the signal — the one who burns only the parts of the line that were holding everything else back. The Sentinel does not move to the edge of the forest; he moves to the place where the signal keeps getting stuck, and the obstruction is gone long before the rest of the canopy realises anything changed at all.
